Cette fois-ci, pour faire changement, une petite chaîne en spirale.

C'est une des chaîne les plus simple et elle comporte certaines particularités. En autre, elle doit être légèrement tendue pour avoir son look spiralé typique. Il est donc préférable de l'utiliser dans un bracelet sans fermoir, on comme complément dans une pièce. Sinon, vous pouvez toujours mettre un fermoir, mais n'oubliez pas de respiraler la chaîne avant de la refermer.

Dans son assemblage, il importe de bien disposer les anneaux et de toujours enfiler le dernier anneau en suivant la direction donnée par les précédents (à partir du troisième). Le plus simple, c'est de suivre les images.

(1) Donc, comme d'habitude, 2 pinces et 18 anneaux. 1 fermé, 17 ouverts.

(2) On enfile un anneau dans l'anneau fermé. Jusqu'ici, c'est facile.

(3)Ensuite, on enfile un anneau à travers les deux autres, en s'assurant qu'il se superpose correctement aux deux précédents.

(4-5) Le quatrième anneau va dans les deux précédents, en suivant la superposition.

(6) Et le cinquième va dans le troisième et le quatrième. Répéter jusqu'à la longueur désirée.

(7) La chaîne sans tension.

(8) La chaîne avec tension (et sans focus).

(9) Une de mes pièces intégrant la chaîne spirale.

This time, let's make a chain, for a change. This is a basic spiral chain.

This chain is simple to make, but does have some perks. First, it must have a certain amount of twist into it to look like a spiral. For this reason, I recommend using it mostly for bracelets without a closure or inside another piece. Otherwise, you have to remember to twist it before wearing it.

While assembling it, look at the pictures to ensure that the rings are in the right position. It is crucial to the proper assembly of this chain that you place all the rings correctly.

(1) First, my 2 favorite pliers and 18 rings. 1 closed, 17 opened.

(2) Close and open ring inside the initial closed ring.

(3) Thread a ring inside the two others. Ensure proper placement of the rings.

(4-5) The fourth rings goes into the the second and third rings of the chain. Again, make sure that your rings follow the curve.

(6)The fifth rings goes into the third and forth. Repeat the process until you have the desired length of chain.

(7) The finished chain without tension.

(8) The finished chain with tension (and out of focus)
